The overall purpose is to showcase each school’s points of pride in the 2025-2026 school year that speak to academic achievement, community engagement, culture and safety, special recognitions, or any key initiative that is unique/special, and newsworthy.
DEFINING POINTS OF PRIDE
Points of Pride are the pivotal programs, partnerships, initiatives, or special recognitions during this school year that are considered newsworthy or have made the most impact at your school with your students, parents, or faculty.
Amira High Quality Usage
Tara was the #1 school in the district for High Quality Amira usage.
Compost Connectors Program
Tara is the first CCPS Food Well Alliance grant Compost Connectors Program School.

Reading Bowl Team
Our Reading Bowl Team placed 1st in the District and 3rd Place in the Metro Region which took place in Macon,Ga.
