Principal's Corner

Dear Parents and Community Members,

I hope this letter finds you all in good health and high spirits. It is with great pleasure and excitement that I write to you today as the newly appointed principal of Tara Elementary. As your new educational leader, I am honored to have the opportunity to serve this wonderful community, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share some of my thoughts and aspirations for our school.

First and foremost, let me express my deep gratitude for the warm welcome I have received from the faculty, staff, and students at Tara Elementary. The sense of unity and commitment to academic excellence that permeates this school is truly inspiring, and I am thrilled to be joining such a dedicated team.

With over 20 years of experience in this field (18 in CCPS) I have spent several years working in various leadership roles.  pride myself for having a strong focus on fostering positive relationships among students, parents, and staff members. I firmly believe that an open line of communication is essential to creating a thriving learning environment, and I am committed to establishing and maintaining strong partnerships between home and school. 

As the new principal, my primary goal is to ensure that Tara Elementary remains a place where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. I am a firm believer in the power of a well-rounded education that not only focuses on academic achievement but also nurtures social-emotional growth and character development. Together, we will strive to create an inclusive and nurturing environment that promotes collaboration, respect for one another, personal responsibility, and a love for learning.

Thank you for entrusting your children's education to Tara Elementary. I look forward to this “new chapter” of our school’s story and getting to know each-and-every one of you as WE work TOGETHER to provide the best possible educational experience for our students.
